“Edge of Love” Worldwide Release 10th May, Special EP Launch Gig, 9th May

Excited to announce that the new EP “Edge of Love” will be released worldwide on 10th May. It has been wonderful to receive so much airplay for the single on BBC shows from Ralph McLean on BBC Ulster, Keith Greentree on BBC Radio Norfolk, Stephen Foster on BBC Suffolk and Mike Shepherd on BBC Merseyside.

“Anything But Easy” has also received airplay on Baylen Leonard’s “The Front Porch” on Chris Country , Leader’s American Pie and various shows across the world.

Advance tickets are now on sale for a special EP launch gig on 9th May at the Louis Marchesi in Norwich. Featuring musicians who have performed on the record, it is going to be a lovely night. Here is the link

A Performance in the South of France, Festivals, Reviews

It’s been a very busy Summer already! I had so much fun performing a special acoustic concert in beautiful Pézenas, South of France with superb guitarist Luigi Notarangelo.

Just this past weekend I enjoyed a beautiful sultry night playing Stradisphere Music Festival and it was lovely to meet the brilliant Mercury Music Prize winning Badly Drawn Boy ahead of his excellent headline set.

It was also a joy to perform “Courage” with my amazing student Breeze Redwine:

The day after, I had a great time at Maverick Festival seeing some memorable performances and soaking up the always warm, friendly atmosphere. I also had a lot of fun performing on the Jimmy Rodgers stage. Huge thanks to James Hodder and Tin Can Review for a lovely afternoon of live music.

One of my favourite acts of the weekend were Australia’s Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes – who I also saw perform last year – and I recently interviewed Lachlan for Songwriting Magazine ahead of their UK tour. It was great to catch up with them and also wonderful singer songwriter Imogen Clark. Here is us after their wonderful set in The Barn:

So excited to share this – my Under The Apple Tree session for Whispering Bob TV. Performing original song “I Just Can’t Forget” with the brilliant Alan Cook on pedal steel. Huge thanks to Miles Myerscough-Harris and Bob Harris – always lovely seeing them.

The track is also being featured on this week’s #UTAT radio on Chris Country amongst some great artists and live performances including The Magic Numbers and CC Smugglers.

Huge congratulations to my amazing student Breeze Redwine– winner of Best Original Artist at this year’s Youngstars The South East Entertainment Awards So well deserved! Hygge Festival, New Videos, Chris Country UTAT Radio

Following my recent acoustic session for Whispering Bob TV, it was lovely to have one of my live tracks “I Just Can’t Forget” included on a great playlist on UTAT Radio, Chris Country.

I also recorded a live session and interview for Park Radio, a lovely community radio station with an eclectic playlist. Had a lovely time returning to BBC Radio Norfolk at The Forum to be the studio guest of Keith Greentree on The Big Country Show. We had a great chat talking all things country and favourite artists such as Emmylou Harris and Alison Krauss. Two of my tracks were also played.

BBC Radio, “Reminders” Limited Edition CD Copies Available!

Had a great evening at BBC Radio Norfolk this week being the Tuesday guest on Matthew Gudgin’s Drivetime Show. Loved talking all things music, my career journey so far, and also playing six of my all-time favourite songs. The interview is available to “Listen Again” here and the show is also repeated on Sunday 26th November between 1 and 2 pm. My next appearance on BBC Radio Norfolk is next Sunday where I will also be chatting to Keith Greentree on the Big Country Show, Sunday 3rd December from 2 pm.

Excited that I have just received these lovely new limited edition CDs of my EP “Reminders” recorded in New York with renowned Brooklyn producer and musician Jeff Hill.
