“the songwriting competition to take note of..” New York Times.

Exciting news! Just been informed I’m a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2017 for “Trust” performed by Breeze Redwine! They received more than 16,000 entries. Such a thrill as a songwriter to have material recognised. I was also a semi-finalist last year. https://songwritingcompetition.com/winners

After my support to Sarah Darling, I will be performing at the Deepdale Hygge Festival – a lovely celebration of the North Norfolk coast on March 25th. Here are the full details and a link to the festival

Record Store Day!

Had a fun day performing an acoustic set for Record Store Day at Vinyl Hunter in Suffolk. It’s always a great day celebrating independent record shops and excellent bands Saltfen and SIAH also performed.

Thanks to Richard Rose at repeatfanzine.co.uk for the cool photo below:

I was also interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk ahead of the Record Store Day gig 1 hour 35 mins in. I also chatted about the ‘A World of Hope’ compilation I feature on by Postcards For Peace

New video uploaded! A live performance of acoustic ballad ‘When You Go’ from OPEN Norwich.

Had a lovely day in the autumn sunshine filming a little live video at the historic Wolferton station on the Royal Sandringham Estate. Thanks so much to John there for letting me film.

Here’s the video, performing Neil Young’s beautiful song ‘Birds’:

I’ve also recorded the song and here’s a free download

My latest music column was in this week’s Evening News. This time I’m talking about my fun time at Reload Festival, looking at music charity The Black Dog Music and also reviewing great gigs by Boo Hewerdine and The Wombats. Plus there’s previews of Norwich Sound & Vision Convention and my upcoming gig at OPENNorwich supporting the wonderful Eliza Carthy
