New Interview and ‘Reminders’ Featured on New Compilation ‘IndieVidual’

Brand new interview! Discussing being an independent artist and the importance of using social media. Huge thanks to Alphabet Bands for their support and coverage lately.

‘A beatiful vocal on this poignant track by Lisa showing strong lyrical content accompanied by a haunting melody.’ Lovely review of ‘Reminders’ which features on ‘IndieVidual’ Vol 1 (cover above) a brand new excellent compilation now on iTunes

Another Gorgeous Christmas Video and Lovely Review

To keep you feeling festive, here’s another gorgeous new video of my Christmas cover ‘I Believe in Father Christmas’ this time with a New York feel. Huge thanks to Claudia Taveira Photography.

Here’s also a lovely review of  the beautifully nostalgic Sessions Productions video from Alphabet Bands. Huge thanks to them both for their great support.
Big thanks to Sessions Productions and Alphabet Bands for all the support.

Excellent new review for ‘Reminders’ from Maverick Magazine

Brilliant new review of the ‘Reminders’ ep. Thanks to the excellent Maverick Magazine. A thrill to be compared to one of my songwriting heroes, Carole King!

‘I was taken aback at the maturity in both her vocals and songwriting…The production quality is superlative, the songs exceptionally well-written, especially the opening “Reminders” with the intuitive lyrics. “Dreaming In Crowds” is a gently flowing harmonic beauty with a kind of Carole King feel, without in any way sounding like the legendary singer-songwriter. Here’s a young lady who’s blossomed into a mighty fine singer-songwriter deserving of the widest possible recognition. I think it’s time that she took the plunge and recorded a full album with similar quality songs and production as this … it would be a world-beater.’

New Video ‘I Believe in Father Christmas’

Plus here’s me at Future Radio during my fun festive live session there last week.

Norwich Sound and Vision Convention and Ukulele Video from Alphabet Bands

Great weekend playing a set at the busy PRS opening reception for Norwich Sound and Vision Convention. What an inspiring and brilliant festival with relevant panels and keynote interviews.

I met lots of great people during the weekend and also had fun singing my waltz “You Will Know” on ukulele at the lovely House Cafe. Trying not to get distracted by those yummy cakes! Big thanks to the excellent Alphabet Bands.

New Video from Balcony TV ~ ‘Summer on the L’

Happy September everyone! Looking forward to playing the Rustic Stage at Weyfest tomorrow. Also very excited to share another new video, this time from the excellent Balcony TV on a glorious day in Brighton. Playing ‘Summer on the L’ on my gorgeous Baby Taylor. The song is all about taking the L train to and from Brooklyn and is from the new EP ‘Reminders’.

‘Reminders’ played on The Bob Harris Show, BBC Radio 2!

Very exciting news! ‘Reminders’ was played on the legendary ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris show on BBC Radio 2 this weekend! It was lovely to hear Bob say that they love my music at the show and that there is a ‘fantastic warmth’ to my music. Coming from a radio legend like Bob, that’s truly an honour!

You can listen again online until this coming Saturday night by clicking the link below. I’m played between The Temper Trap and Judie Tzuke.
