Performing at Ramblin’ Roots Revue 2018! Interview with Sarah Darling

So excited to be chosen to play The Ramblin’ Roots Revue Festival and the EarBelly Acoustic Stage on Saturday 7th April! Many wonderful artists performing at this festival in High Wycombe which has the incredible The Magic Numbers headlining – going to be a lovely celebration of Americana

The Ramblin’ Roots Revue 2018 is a three-day celebration of Americana, Roots, Alt-Country and Folk music. It’s all indoors at an award-winning venue in South Bucks with a great selection of craft ales, fine whiskies and artisan food.

It’s a stellar line-up of live music across three stages with weekend tickets at £32.50.

Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition!

Exciting news! Just been informed I’m a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2017 for “Trust” performed by Breeze Redwine! They received more than 16,000 entries. Such a thrill as a songwriter to have material recognised. I was also a semi-finalist last year. https://songwritingcompetition.com/winners 

After my support to Sarah Darling, I will be performing at the Deepdale Hygge Festival – a lovely celebration of the North Norfolk coast on March 25th. Here are the full details and a link to the festival

Live review: Maverick Festival 2017 10th Anniversary (30 Jun – 2 Jul ’17)

My incredibly talented student Breeze Redwine continues to record really great original songs and has just released her debut EP ‘Trust’. I’m proud to have written the title track with her and it’s just received it’s first airplay on BBC Introducing. DJ Jay Lawrence said what a song it is and described Breeze as ‘absolutely talented beyond her years’.

Am all recovered from a great couple of days at the AMA-UK Conference and Awards and my review about my inspiring time there is in the Columns section of the site. Also been playing this sweet song from winning of Best International Album, Sam Outlaw and ‘Country Love Song.’

 

Very exciting that ‘Remember Me’ from ‘Another Place and Time’ is featuring on this weekend’s BBC Introducing! Lovely to have their support.

Another one of my songs from the EP ‘Music and the Mountains’ is on this lovely Americana compilation, The House Concert 8th Birthday Collection from Medicine Show Records and available on BandCamp.

Huge thanks to Basement Tapes for creating this beautiful bracelet for me! Made from my used Taylor guitar strings it’s one of their stunning Artist bracelets. It’s available to order via their website and I’ve been proudly wearing it every since!

Another compilation that I’m proud to feature on, charity release ‘A World of Hope’ from Postcards for Peace will be officially released on March 10th. You can also order it now here.
