And I&#8217;ve a feeling there&#8217;ll be plenty more coming her way, because this album is even better. Lisa has worked with excellent musicians, led by producer Gabriel Minnikin, to come up with an alt country-tinged set with zippy melodies and excellent playing all topped with Lisa&#8217;s effortlessly pure vocals. The jangly nu country opener sets out her stall in radio-friendly singalong style. And Lisa moves easily from the up-tempo stuff to yearning ballad When You Go. LIsa has a full sound without losing her distinctive style. Minnikin has brought in plenty of instruments &#8211; even a theremin &#8211; to create textures which are varied and always interesting.
