Clouds with Silver has just received more excellent reviews, 4 stars in national UK magazine, Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Reel, 8 out of 10 at Americana UK and also look out for the Dec issue of Maverick magazine where there is a two page feature and interview. It is available from November 20th in all UK local newsagents, WH Smiths, HMV stores or Barnes &amp; Nobles stores in America.<\/p>\n<p>October \u2013 \u2018Here Alone\u2019 played on Bob Harris\u2019s Radio 2 Show and Glowing Press<\/p>\n<p>There was even more airplay for the album when Bob Harris played \u2018Here Alone\u2019 on his October 4<sup>th<\/sup> and described Lisa as one of the show\u2019s \u2018absolute favourites\u2019. There have also been more glowing press reviews including the latest Autumn\/Winter issue of Propergranda magazine and November\u2019s Country Music People Magazine (4 stars).\u00a0 There is also an interview at Inner Ear, a huge music resource in The Netherlands. The song &#8216;Live Your Life&#8217; was played and Bob described the album as &#8216;a beautiful album..it really is&#8217;. Featuring 11 songs all written and performed by Lisa, most of the album was recorded in New York City and co-produced with talented and respected multi-instrumentalist and producer Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson). Lisa was recently interviewed and played live on Alive With Clive, a show promoting positivity and making the world a better place. For those in the White Plains area of New York, the appearance is on July 7<sup>th<\/sup>. Clive will be releasing a compilation CD featuring artists that have appeared on his program with proceeds going towards the fight against AIDS in South Africa, his hometown. My gig at the Living Room went so well, a really good and full audience (thanks to those of you who came out), I had a cool photo shoot, did a cable TV interview and show and my new recording in Brooklyn is done! Am so happy with how it&#8217;s sounding and feel so excited about this new record. Although it is mostly me and my acoustic, I mostly played live too,\u00a0I have some amazing players on there too. It has just done really well at a film festival there and is going to be pitched to the BBC too. After her promo video &#8216;Why&#8217; (picture below) made the top 25 of the pop section,\u00a0 &#8216;Call Me&#8217; went on to become one of the final 5 and received a huge number of votes and views. Thanks to all of you who came to the concert making it such a great success. Huge thanks also to those who purchased the limited edition single &#8216;Be Around&#8217; which also raised money for Norwich Samaritans. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk at a later date, news of that date will be posted here.<\/p>\n<p>April 4th &#8211; Continuing the spring tour, Lisa supported Nashville based singer-songwriter Jeff Black at The Maze, Nottingham.<\/p>\n<p>March 29th &#8211; Lisa, with Alan Cook on steel, dobro and guitar, opened for Canadian country star Corb Lund at Leicester&#8217;s Musician.<\/p>\n<p>March 23rd &#8211; After returning from the Netherlands dates, Lisa played Manchester&#8217;s Night and Day. Joined by Anna Kashfi&#8217;s James Youngjohns on violin, the gig earned an excellent live review at Americana UK. She opened for singer-songwriter and classic blues-orientated guitarist Snowy White. Snowy&#8217;s timeless song &#8216;Bird of Paradise&#8217;, became an international hit and he has also played with Pink Floyd, Peter Green and Thin Lizzy. After the Borderline, Lisa did dates at Aldershot West End Arts Centre, Canterbury Gulbenkian Theatre and Bristol Folkhouse as a special guest on tour with highly regarded singer-songwriter Keith James.
