November \u2013 More Glowing Press, Shows with Eve Selis and Maverick Magazine feature<\/p>\n

Lisa played tour dates with Eve Selis including a show at the UK\u2019s best venue The Luminaire. Clouds with Silver has just received more excellent reviews, 4 stars in national UK magazine, Rock ‘n’ Reel, 8 out of 10 at Americana UK and also look out for the Dec issue of Maverick magazine where there is a two page feature and interview. It is available from November 20th in all UK local newsagents, WH Smiths, HMV stores or Barnes & Nobles stores in America.<\/p>\n

October \u2013 \u2018Here Alone\u2019 played on Bob Harris\u2019s Radio 2 Show and Glowing Press<\/p>\n

There was even more airplay for the album when Bob Harris played \u2018Here Alone\u2019 on his October 4th<\/sup> and described Lisa as one of the show\u2019s \u2018absolute favourites\u2019. September \u2013 \u2018Live Your Life\u2019 played on Bob Harris and Album out on Proper<\/p>\n

There was more airplay for ‘Clouds with Silver’ on Bob Harris’s BBC Radio 2 show on September 13th. The song ‘Live Your Life’ was played and Bob described the album as ‘a beautiful album..it really is’. You can view the playlists by clicking here<\/b><\/p>\n

BBC Norfolk Introducing are also going to feature one of the new album tracks, the upbeat Americana track \u2018When You Come Home\u2019, as the BBC Norfolk Introducing track of the week from Saturday August 9.<\/sup> It will then be played across BBC Radio Norfolk\u2019s daytime output for seven days.<\/p>\n

The station are also going to be running a report (using an interview I did with them earlier) on BBC Norfolk Introducing Friday August 15 7-8pm. Featuring 11 songs all written and performed by Lisa, most of the album was recorded in New York City and co-produced with talented and respected multi-instrumentalist and producer Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson). Alive with Clive TV appearance. Lisa was recently interviewed and played live on Alive With Clive, a show promoting positivity and making the world a better place. For those in the White Plains area of New York, the appearance is on July 7th<\/sup>. Clive will be releasing a compilation CD featuring artists that have appeared on his program with proceeds going towards the fight against AIDS in South Africa, his hometown. June \u2013 Brand new album on its way!<\/p>\n

From Lisa\u2019s blog in the Slipstream newsletter\u2026Just back in the UK after my wonderful and productive time in New York. My gig at the Living Room went so well, a really good and full audience (thanks to those of you who came out), I had a cool photo shoot, did a cable TV interview and show and my new recording in Brooklyn is done! Am so happy with how it’s sounding and feel so excited about this new record. Although it is mostly me and my acoustic, I mostly played live too,\u00a0I have some amazing players on there too. May 08 – Dragonfly featured in cool indie movie<\/p>\n

Dragonfly features in new short indie movie \u2018Seized\u2019 filmed in LA. It has just done really well at a film festival there and is going to be pitched to the BBC too. Check out the extended trailer here<\/p>\n

A Finalist at Famecast – International video competition!<\/strong>
\nLisa was\u00a0 made a finalist in an international music video competition. After her promo video ‘Why’ (picture below) made the top 25 of the pop section,\u00a0 ‘Call Me’ went on to become one of the final 5 and received a huge number of votes and views. Sadly Lisa\u00a0 was unable to make the prize winning trip to Austin to play at the industry showcase due to illnes but thanks so much to everyone who voted and it was quite incredible to make the final 5 and receive overwhelming votes.<\/p>\n

Lisa was played again on BBC Radio 2 Bob Harris’s Show. Steve Lamacq played one of her live favourites ‘Wildfire’ from \u2018Lost Again\u2019 and said that Bob regarded her as one of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters!\u2019<\/p>\n

She also played the respected Rockwood Music Hall (picture below by Paul Syznol) and headlined at the lovely Caffe Vivaldi in Greenwich Village. Thanks again to those who came along to the shows and bought CDs. During this trip, \u2018Fell on Hard Times\u2019 again received airplay on Bob Harris\u2019s Radio 2 show and has become one of the most played tracks on his Saturday show.<\/p>\n

Special headline show at Norwich Playhouse
\nApril 13th – For the biggest concert of the spring tour, Lisa made a very special appearance at Norwich’s wonderful Playhouse Theatre in aid of Norwich Samaritans and recorded by BBC Radio Norfolk. Thanks to all of you who came to the concert making it such a great success. Huge thanks also to those who purchased the limited edition single ‘Be Around’ which also raised money for Norwich Samaritans. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk at a later date, news of that date will be posted here.<\/p>\n

April 4th – Continuing the spring tour, Lisa supported Nashville based singer-songwriter Jeff Black at The Maze, Nottingham.<\/p>\n

March 29th – Lisa, with Alan Cook on steel, dobro and guitar, opened for Canadian country star Corb Lund at Leicester’s Musician.<\/p>\n

London\u2019s Borderline Kicks off Spring Tour
\nLisa kicked off her tour with a return to London’s prestigious
\nBorderline on Monday March 6th. She opened for singer-songwriter and classic blues-orientated guitarist Snowy White. Snowy’s timeless song ‘Bird of Paradise’, became an international hit and he has also played with Pink Floyd, Peter Green and Thin Lizzy. After the Borderline, Lisa did dates at Aldershot West End Arts Centre, Canterbury Gulbenkian Theatre and Bristol Folkhouse as a special guest on tour with highly regarded singer-songwriter Keith James.
