Still buzzing from playing 3 Pop Up Stages at C2C at the O2. Thanks again so much to Country to Country for having me play and to everyone who came along to the shows. The festival had a great atmosphere with so much amazing live music. Thanks to Jeff G Photography for these great colour shots and to Jon Higham for the cool sepia pic. More photos at my Facebook page and they’ll be more pics to come. To make it an even more exciting weekend I was also played on Bob Harris’s Radio 2 show. Bob played ‘The Boy Who..’ from my latest compilation ‘The Sweetest Dream’ describing it as a song that ‘really tugs at the heart’. It’s also a song I performed over the weekend and available on Bandcamp
Such a great day this week recording an Under the Apple Tree session for Bob Harris and WBBC. It was so lovely catching up with Bob again. Videos coming soon. Photo below taken by the great man himself!
Also excited that Country to Country is coming up next weekend! Times for the Pop Up Stages have been announced here see you at the O2!
Had a great time performing my Christmas single (plus a fun Christmas cover!) at UEA TV’s Reverb Christmas Special. Photos above and video to come soon!
A real Christmas treat hearing ‘St Benedict’s Christmas Fair’ played on Bob Harris’s show last night! Bob played a lovely selection of festive songs and described my tune as ‘so sweet and really lovely!.’ Thanks so much to Bob for all the support and also the other radio stations and shows that have supported the single (Future Radio, Norwich 99.9, BBC Radio Suffolk, Acoustic Routes, Wrecking Ball Radio and many more) Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas!
Listen again to the show here my song is on at 1:52!
Excited to play 2 festivals last weekend. First up was the lovely boutique music and poetry festival Gypsy In The Field which was absolutely lovely with a great friendly vibe. Then on Sunday it was Homegrown Music Festival, a great new festival supporting talented artists in the Eastern region. Again, everyone was so welcoming and up for a fun time. Roll on next summer!
Rocking the main stage at Gypsy (above) and on the acoustic stage for Homegrown (below).
Here’s a new interview I did to promote the Homegrown Music Festival. Talking about Bob Harris, New York and more. Big thanks to InSuffolk
Really cool to see I’m on the playlist & home page of this cool French website. Magnifique! Lisa Redford – Web-TV – La musique avant tout
An English translation of a recent cool French article. Huge thanks to Claude!
Very exciting news! ‘Reminders’ was played on the legendary ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris show on BBC Radio 2 this weekend! It was lovely to hear Bob say that they love my music at the show and that there is a ‘fantastic warmth’ to my music. Coming from a radio legend like Bob, that’s truly an honour!
You can listen again online until this coming Saturday night by clicking the link below. I’m played between The Temper Trap and Judie Tzuke.
