Had a lovely time returning to BBC Radio Norfolk at The Forum to be the studio guest of Keith Greentree on The Big Country Show. We had a great chat talking all things country and favourite artists such as Emmylou Harris and Alison Krauss. Two of my tracks were also played.

Had a great evening at BBC Radio Norfolk this week being the Tuesday guest on Matthew Gudgin’s Drivetime Show. Loved talking all things music, my career journey so far, and also playing six of my all-time favourite songs. The interview is available to “Listen Again” here and the show is also repeated on Sunday 26th November between 1 and 2 pm. My next appearance on BBC Radio Norfolk is next Sunday where I will also be chatting to Keith Greentree on the Big Country Show, Sunday 3rd December from 2 pm.

Something sweet! Here’s a brand new music video for “Trust” by Breeze Redwine. One for all the dog lovers out there. “Trust” is the title track from Breeze’s debut EP and I wrote this song about the very special bond between owners and their four legged friends
Had a great time playing two successive lovely Americana nights. I performed at Grapevine for Music at The Guildhall, who host regular showcases of great folk and country artists, and then on the following night supported I support the excellent duo, The Worry Dolls at OPEN, fresh from their recent AMA UK Award nomination. Also playing were the fabulous Morganway doing a special stripped down set.

This weekend had a lovely gig supporting outstanding songwriter Tom McRae on the last date of his tour at The John Peel Centre in Stowmarket. Thanks so much to Tom for having me play and all the kind words from the audience.

Enjoyed a couple of days at the inaugural Amplify Introducing at London’s Excel. Caught lots of insightful panels including ones on women in music and the current country music scene in the UK. It was lovely to catch up with the wonderful Bob Harris and get to interview him for my feature in Songwriting Magazine.

Had fun in another role at Future Radio where I hosted my own radio show for the People’s Playlist. I played and talked about twelve of my favourite songs. The show will be broadcast on Future Radio on Monday, 23rd October at 2pm.

Had a lovely time performing two acoustic sets at Reepham Festival. Such a lovely friendly festival. On Saturday I performed in the Church and was accompanied by Jonathan Threadwell on electric guitar. I wrote about my first time playing at this lovely festival and all my other recent music news in my latest column for All Things Norfolk.
On Sunday I performed at the historic Whitwell station.

Enjoyed a great day of music at the 10th Anniversary of Maverick Festival. With talented Nashville duo Chasing Summer and Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes from Melbourne.
My incredibly talented student Breeze Redwine continues to record really great original songs and has just released her debut EP ‘Trust’. I’m proud to have written the title track with her and it’s just received it’s first airplay on BBC Introducing. DJ Jay Lawrence said what a song it is and described Breeze as ‘absolutely talented beyond her years’.
